Capacitar Practices for Wellness
'Capacitar' means empowerment, to bring forth life. It is training that draws from many cultures and wisdom traditions and is taught in forty five countries.
Started thirty years ago by Dr Pat Cane, Capacitar is simple yet profound and is literally at our finger tips to help us through the stresses and strains of everyday life. These Wellness Practices are easy to learn and can be shared with family and friends.
Wellness Workshops using Capacitar practices have been taught in Norfolk by Reepham resident, Denise Treissman, for the last six years and have enabled people, even after one hourly workshop, to have a 'toolkit of practices' to release stress, tension and trauma that promote well being. If you would like to try out these practices there is a Capacitar Taster on November 2nd at The Meditation Centre, St Marks, Myddelton Square, London EC1R 1XX from 10am to 1pm with Marj McDaid and Denise Treissman. Refreshments will be provided and a suggested donation of fifteen pounds is requested and can be paid on the day but please book through [email protected] where Paul Golightly, Capacitar UK co-ordinator, will take your booking. Denise qualified to teach Wellness Capacitar practices with Dr Patricia Cane: www.capacitar.org.
This is what people say about her workshops:
