Wellness Workshops
In my Wellness Workshops I use 'Capacitar' practices. 'Capacitar' means 'empowerment, encouragement, bringing forth' in Spanish. It is a training that is simple yet profound and is literally at our finger tips to help us through the stresses and strains of everyday life. The practices are enjoyable, done to music and in quiet, and are easy to learn so that they can immediately be used in daily life. |
About Wellness and Capacitar Workshops:
In the Wellness Workshops I invite people to experience a balance of movement and stillness through 'Capacitar' practices that can help release tension and bring peace to mind, body and spirit, a way of learning to help ourselves and others.
The use of simple ancient and modern healing practices can empower us to live with peace and wellbeing.
Tai Chi with visualisation, movements to stimulate the body's innate healing, Emotional Freedom Technique, Acupressure and a range of simple holds to release tensions and locked-up emotions, Capacitar teaches us what we can do to help ourselves and those around us to promote health and wellbeing.

Dr Patricia Mathes Cane, who started the Capacitar programme twenty eight years ago, has taught people in over forty countries around the world how to deal with the stresses and strains of life which for many people has involved trauma. For more information go to www.capacitar.org
I had the great good fortune to complete a one year training course with Dr Cane four years ago and have been teaching it around the country for the last three years. I continue to study with Pat in on-going teacher training.
