There are ways to promote wellbeing that are simple and inexpensive. It helps to 'give ourselves permission' to do something for ourselves, to take time to practise and to try to practise regularly. Two ways that I have found to be most helpful are meditation and workshops using Capacitar practices.
Workshops using Capacitar practices enable us to learn simple healing movements that can be used in daily life to release stress and tension. Ancient practices like Tai Chi and Finger Holds as well as modern ones like Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) can bring peace and a real sense of wellbeing.

Meditation - sitting in silence with awareness on the breath - for ten to twenty minutes daily can give our mind a "holiday" to give us a sense of peace. It is time away from our usual pattern of thinking which is so often burdened with concerns and the stresses and strains of daily life.
